Emergencies

We understand that emergencies do happen.  We will pay emergency payments or offer food packages to care leavers for the following reasons:

• as part of an education package
• if you are unable to claim benefits
• if you are waiting for your benefits to start
• in an emergency

Speak to your PA if you think you are entitled to food packages or you are facing an emergency. You may be asked for proof of your situation.
